Christianne Salvador and David Smith hoped their August 28, 2021 wedding at a private home in Edgartown would leave a lasting impression on their guests. “We wanted our wedding to be memorable for everyone there, not just us,” said Christianne. “We also wanted our day to be sprinkled with local elements unique to the Island.”

Prior to their big day, the couple visited Island Alpaca Company in Oak Bluffs and thought it would be adorable to incorporate some of the Island-born cuties into their wedding. “We paid Island Alpaca $600 for a couple of alpacas, and they showed up...during the cocktail hour dressed as a bride and groom,” said Christianne. Guests loved snapping pictures with the furry guests, making the wedding truly unforgettable.
