Wild (Flower) About You

The new queer-owned Fire Cat Farm has all your flower needs.

Dalila Bennett knows their way around flowers. With a decade of experience as a flower farmer for Morning Glory Farm, they opened Fire Cat Farm in 2020, creating the first queer-owned flower and vegetable farm on Martha’s Vineyard. Alongside co-owner Casey Mazar-Kelly, who joined the team in 2022, they offer over fifty varieties of organic and pesticide-free flowers ready to be used for any wedding display. They can craft the items, from bridal bouquets and boutonnières to garlands and table centerpieces. Or they offer a DIY option: one bucket of flowers that can create three to five bouquets for $100.
